You Need Points

Posting a meme requires points. You can earn points by rating other users' memes. The number of points required to upload a meme is displayed in the sidebar.

Template Name

Select the template that matches the meme format, not what the meme is about. The template is the original image or layout used to create your meme. For example, if your meme uses the Distracted Boyfriend format, select Distracted Boyfriend as the template, even if the meme is about school, gaming, or work. Choosing the wrong template may result in your meme being rejected or moved to the correct template.

Caption

Enter a funny, descriptive caption that is different from any text already shown on the meme. A good caption helps other users understand the joke and makes your meme easier to find through search.

Tags

Add at least one tag that is relevant to your meme. Use keywords that describe the meme's topic, characters, emotions, or theme to help other users discover it.
